Weekend One

Posted by Gemini

I know, I know. My titles aren't interesting at all anymore, I get it. But I'm too brain-dead from school to come up with anything more creative. And I warn you this is going to be a pretty boring blog post as well. My weekend was not the most exciting thing that's for certain. Not that any of my days are really that exciting but this one was really... blah.

Friday night. Didn't do much. Worked on homework, barely got done with any of it really. At least other than my programming homework. Went to sleep fairly late even so.

Saturday didn't do much either. Got most of my work done other than a separate technology project and math. Got through my english homework mostly. Both stories I had to read were really cool and the one for my main english class really got me thinking about some things. Good thing too or I would have really been lost on the homework we had to do since all the teacher told us was to 'write a response'. That's it. No boundaries, no starting question, no nothing. So it left me feeling a little lost. But I got through it and I think what I did will suffice.

Sunday. First part of the day I finished that tech homework. Really it was supposed to be a group project, but other than the research, I pretty much did everything. Not that it was that big of a deal, but I still feel kind of put out. Hopefully my teacher will know to put me with better partners next time. Anyway. I ended up going into town with my mother. She got some stuff and we looked at new phones. Oh yeah. We ordered new phones. I can't wait to get them. They'll be here by tuesday so I'll tell you how cool they are then. But the one I picked out for myself is a PDA. Which is tons more useful as far as school stuff. Although I'll have to pretend it's not a phone or something I guess if the teachers ask when I have it out. My parents are also getting unlimited texting this time around. It's nice but I probably won't use it that much. They said they'd let me use it, but wouldn't even tell my brother that we have it. Funny I think. Again, probably won't use it much, except for the vague-ish times that I feel like sending a picture of something to somebody. What's nice too, because it's done PDA style, and not just like a touch-screen phone, it comes with a stylus, which means I don't have to worry about fingerprints all over the screen because the only way I can use it. After I came home with my mother I watched the 3-D spy kids movie because it was on, and then the new Scooby Doo movie. The Scooby movie was pretty cool actually. I like how they did it. All the actors were perfect, though I really think they should have dyed Fred's hair blonde. It just wasn't the same looking at him without blonde hair. And for some reason the movie seemed to really push the idea of Daphne and Fred being together and then Shaggy and Velma being together. The first pair was kind of in the cartoon, but the second pair... that just didn't seem right. at all. The weird thing was, all the actors looked like they were college kids, but later in the movie it says that the only one who can drive is Shaggy. Which puts me as older than all of them except Shaggy. Me being about the same age as Shaggy. Which kind of freaked me out a bit. Mostly I just think that they actors were too old for the age they were trying to say they were. So I ended up never doing my math homework. Luckily it's not due until tuesday so I'll just get it done tomorrow.

Blog post ended up longer than I thought it would be... I guess more happened this weekend than I had really realized. But I'd forgotten about the whole phone thing. So yeah. See you monday, I guess?
